Adopted: Lulubelle

Approximately 6 years old, Lulubelle is a domestic short haired red and white kitty. She came from a loving home, but unfortunately the owner had to go into hospice care. She was in a home with other cats and a small dog. but she really has no interest in being a cat friend.

This girl is all about the snuggles. She will lay by you with her paw on your arm. She is low energy but still gets silly with the odd toy.

You may never sit or lay down alone again:). Lulubelle loves to curl up under the covers to sleep when no one is around. She has never been outside but enjoys a perch by a window to watch what is going on in the neighborhood.

Because she was housed with other cats that were being free fed, she is a little chunk. Her foster mom had her on a metabolic prescription diet for weight loss, but she won’t need it lifelong. She will need someone who can manage portion control and give her lots of attention, instead of food. She has had bloodwork that shows no signs of diabetes, and has already lost over a pound, surprisingly easily. She will eat the dog’s food if there is one in the family, so it is important that there is a plan to keep that from happening.

This sweet girl will make a great companion. She is looking for a simple, uncomplicated life to share with her very own person.
