Adopted: Ember

Beautiful Ember was abandoned with her kittens off a busy highway. A kind woman in a nearby home noticed her and started to feed the little family. Her kittens found homes and now it is her turn.

Ember is a young cat who has obviously had good experiences with people. She is happy to make friends with strangers and adapted quickly to her foster home. In addition to being friendly and loving attention, she is tolerant of toenail clipping and enjoys being brushed and petted.

We don’t know how she is with dogs or new cats, but feel that she would do well with a female kitten. If you want her to have a companion, we have several small tabby kittens who will be available soon for adoption. But she would do fine alone if she gets a lot of attention. We haven’t had her very long, but she seems to be the kind of cat who will enjoy hanging out in whatever room you are in. Quiet and easy to be around, she would be a great companion for a retired person or a family who wants easy going feline companionship. Ember enjoys looking out windows and spending time in a catio in her foster home. We don’t know how playful she may be once she settles in. She has been in survival mode taking care of her babies and trying to find food, but she may get her playful jive back once she knows she is safe and in a forever home.

New adopters will need to take care that she doesn’t accidentally get outside while she is acclimating to your home and family.

Ember is spayed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped and combo tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

$125 adoption donation.
